Our client, a strong stable distribution company is looking for a Warehouse Associate to add to our growing team at their Medina location.

Salary: Base up to $49,000 plus Quarterly Bonuses, MDV, 401k plus match and a generous PTO program. You will be paid weekly
Office Environment: In-Office, 7 am - 5 pm (4 days/wk and NO weekends)
Position Overview
Requirements:
- High school or equivalent
- Previous warehouse experience
- Confident in taking direction and carrying through with limited to no supervision
- Supervises as part of daily routine or expected duties
- Supervises others as part of expected duties
- Capable of developing an action plan when needed with minimal guidance from management
Job Duties:
- Follow proper procedures to pull items using labels and bar code picking
- Proper bagging and labeling to move items from stock location
- Use correct procedure when receiving items and applying bar code labels
- Manually move small items from pallets (skids) to and from storage shelves or use industrial lift truck to move bigger items in large item storage bays
- Transfer items from pallets (skids) to correct storage shelves (home slot) or overstock locations by reading the item label, put away plate or by checking the bar code reader
- Use bar code scanner to properly record items when moving inventory to proper locations.
- Understand procedures for stocking new items
- Understand layout of shipping docks and transfer docks to properly place outgoing material in correct staging area
- Properly completes any paperwork associated with the work activity
- Make sure boxes are packaged for safe travel
- Conduct inventory as directed using proper procedures and bar code scanner
- Safely uses all equipment including but not limited to powered industrial trucks, pallet jacks, cutting machines, bar code reader, carts, conveyors, doors, gates, etc.
- May also perform duties in the following specialized areas: will call, wire isle, crane bay, and yard
- Keep work area in neat and clean condition
- Accomplishes tasks with minimal direction from team lead or manager
- Represents the location as site safety rep
- Practices consistent training
- Other duties as assigned by the manager
