Automation Personnel Services is hiring a dependable Warehouse Associate / Material Handler in Mesquite, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for picking, packing and operating stand up forklift and completing daily tasks efficiently and safely.

Pay rate is $17.50 per hour with 1st shift: Mon–Fri 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Duties include receiving, inventory, shipping/receiving support, and teamwork to hit daily goals.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse experience preferred.
• Must operate a stand-up forklift safely.
• Lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand and walk for the full shift.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick tickets.
• Pack and prepare products for shipment with quality checks.
• Stock incoming inventory in designated locations.
• Load, unload, and move materials using a stand-up forklift.
• Receive and verify shipments against packing slips and POs.
• Conduct inventory counts and assist with cycle counts.
• Replenish picking locations to maintain availability.
• Inspect products for damage and report discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Assist with shipping, receiving and general warehouse tasks.
• Collaborate with team to meet daily productivity goals.

Warehouse Associate / Material Handler

Automation Personnel Services is hiring a dependable Warehouse Associate / Material Handler in Mesquite, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for picking, packing and operating stand up forklift and completing daily tasks efficiently and safely.

Pay Rate

$17.50 per hour.

Schedule and Hours

1st shift Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Duties and Responsibilities

• Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners, pick tickets, or warehouse management systems.
• Pack and prepare products for shipment while ensuring order accuracy and product quality.
• Stock incoming inventory in assigned warehouse locations.
• Load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse using a stand-up forklift and other material handling equipment.
• Receive and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Conduct inventory counts and assist with cycle counts as needed.
• Replenish picking locations to maintain product availability.
• Inspect products for damage and report discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and general warehouse operations as required.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity and accuracy goals.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, order picking, packing, or material handling experience preferred.
• Required experience operating a stand-up forklift.
• Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, and pull throughout an entire shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Basic math and inventory skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
