Job summary

Awisco-New-York-Corp in Maspeth, NY is seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate to receive, stock, and pack customer orders. You will handle basic math, operate a computer, and lift up to 50 lbs as part of daily inventory tasks.

Work hours are Mon-Fri 9am-5pm with Saturday shifts 8am-12pm; steel-toed boots are required. Occasional local deliveries may be involved in this on-site role.

Qualifications

• Must be able to navigate a computer keyboard/screen easily.

Responsibilities

• Receive trucks carrying inventory
• Perform duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, labeling operations and sorting
• Pick, pack and stage incoming customer orders
• Loads trucks and vehicles in preparation for deliveries and customer will-call orders
• Maintains the warehouse and all surrounding areas
• Performs cycle counts to assist with inventory control
• Occasionally assist with local deliveries
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Must have basic computer related skills
• Perform other warehouse related duties as necessary

The warehouse associate is responsible for receiving and stocking inventory, preparing and packing customer orders. The warehouse associate must possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division and must navigate a computer keyboard/screen easily.
