Job summary

Parts Authority is seeking a Warehouse Associate - Maintenance in Windsor Locks, CT. The role focuses on keeping the facility clean, orderly, and well-maintained across shifts. Hourly rate is $18.00 with standard first and second shifts.

Responsibilities include cleaning, stocking, performing routine inspections, and adhering to safety regulations while supporting team members in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cleaner with knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Good attendance, punctuality and time management.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal directions.
• Ability to maintain productivity and quality standards in a warehouse setting.
• Frequent lifting and physical tasks up to 100 lbs.
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, reaching, and climbing as needed.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and teamwork.
• Flexible with shifts and overtime as required.
• Warehouse experience (1–2 years) preferred.
• Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse.

• Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning).
• Gather and empty trash and maintain supply rooms.
• Perform and document routine inspections and maintenance tasks.
• Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects.
• Notify management of deficiencies or repair needs.
• Follow health and safety regulations at all times.
• Support other duties and related projects as assigned.

1 st Shift: Sun. - Thurs. 6:30am -3:00pm

2 nd Shift Sun. – Thurs 3:00pm– 11:30am

Responsibilities

• Miscellaneous projects and perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal
• Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements
• Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move objects 10 - 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh up to 100 lbs.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach
• Occasionally required to sit and climb (ladders and/ or stairs) or balance
• May be subject to environmental conditions. Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
• May be required to function in narrow aisles or passageways.
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
