Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking a Warehouse General Worker I to perform a wide variety of manual duties that involve physical labor in a fast-paced logistics environment.

You will load and unload cartons onto trailers, sort and palletize items, maintain accurate documentation, and strictly follow safety regulations while identifying defective products and ensuring proper freight placement.

Qualifications

• High School GED or work equivalent (Preferred).
• Reading and writing English; knowledge of airport codes and basic geography.
• Typing or data entry skills.
• Ability to participate in safety policies and practices.
• Specialized computer knowledge is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads cartons / boxes onto trailers, sometimes overhead lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Sorts cartons / boxes onto pallets as needed.
• Maintains and verifies documentation to facilitate merchandise flow.
• Follows health and safety regulations of AIT.
• Identifies and removes defective products.
• Puts freight away in designated areas.
• Performs other duties as required by business needs.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
