Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the daily shipping, receiving, and inventory control aspects of the warehouse are maintained, including:
- Receiving: logging and verifying all inbound shipments for material identity, quantity, and any shipping damage. Coordinating receiving inspections within established protocols, imputing all inbound receipts in the Innomar WMS software, and filling out corresponding documents;
- Quarantining products related to inbound receipts and returns as outlined by Innomar’s SOPs (product status change remains a function of the Warehouse Manager and Innomar QA);
- Picking products: ensuring all orders are picked and packed according to SOPs and client requirements to meet daily commitments;
- Packing orders: performing blind checks to verify correctness and packing in accordance with SOPs and client standards;
- Completing all documentation accurately, including shipping documents like waybills and customs papers;
- Managing inventory movement using FIFO or FEFO methods, ensuring organized flow of goods;
- Maintaining data integrity of inventory systems through accurate transactions and routine cycle counts;
- Assisting with handling of released products and production assembly, including refrigerated and frozen items;
- Implementing corrective and preventative actions;
- Ensuring GMP & regulatory compliance, including sanitation, pest control, and handling sensitive products;
- Participating in training on GMP and operating systems like WMS and TMS, including RF scanning equipment;
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Experience and Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a related industry;
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and math);
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs daily;
- Ability to perform reaching, bending, and lifting activities regularly;
- Ability to work in cold environments;
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment;
- Attention to detail and accuracy;
- Work well under pressure and time constraints;
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills;
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
- Ability to operate manual handling equipment.
Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution industry;
- Experience with automated warehouse management systems;
- Strong business, financial, analytical, and mathematical skills;
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written;
- Interpersonal and leadership abilities;
- Organizational skills with attention to detail;
- Ability to meet deadlines consistently;
- Problem-solving skills for effective issue resolution;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
