Job summary

PRL Motorsports is seeking a Warehouse Associate to pick, ship, receive, and put away goods, maintain stock accuracy, and keep the warehouse safe and organized. You will track inventory, verify shipments, and cooperate with procurement to manage deliveries.

The role requires experience in warehouse operations, ability to lift up to 70 pounds, and comfort using ERP and Excel. This is a full-time, on-site position in Kentucky.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar receiving and inventory position.
• Ability to operate within an ERP system and use Excel for records.
• Standards of safety and organization in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Properly account for the location of incoming goods and organization and safety of warehouse.
• Assuring no damaged items are sent or received and documentation of damaged items.
• Comparing packing lists to company purchase orders and ensuring that the products in each delivery match the packing list and documenting and reporting mismatches.
• Receive products and unload from truck, label if applicable, sign and complete paperwork, inspect for damages, & put away on shelves to keep stock replenished & updated.
• Filling out of any product paperwork for returns and contact supplier or shipper if a mistake is identified.
• Identify, count, & sort packages/inventory with a high level of urgency
• Collaborate with procurement staff to list expected deliveries.
• Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc.) and update the product inventory as products are received and added to the inventory.
• Ensure invoices are signed and paid for satisfactory deliveries.
• Adhere to all company safety standards.
• Experience recording receiving’s in an ERP system.
• Experience using Excel.
• Assist with Year-End Physical Inventory
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary:

The role of the Warehouse Associate involves picking and occasional shipping of all customer orders from the warehouse, receiving product in and putting away on shelves to keep stock replenished and up to date, as well as maintain the safety and neatness of the warehouse for the safety of all team members. Warehouse Associates are ultimately in charge of inventory at a business, warehouse, or office. They keep track of shipment and receiving schedules for both incoming and outgoing shipments. They track inventory counts and check the items in inventory for damages or discrepancies.

Required Education & Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar receiving and inventory position
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Work Environment:

• Requires working indoors in environmentally controlled conditions.
• Requires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects; exposure to hazardous equipment, exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting and uncomfortable
• Requires using ladders, forklifts, and ability to regularly lift to 50 pounds, and team lift 75-120 pounds.
• Requires work with others in a group or team with responsibility for work outcomes and results.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and push items on a regular basis.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 70 Lbs. utilizing all safety equipment and precautions.
