Job summary

Metrie in Denver is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our distribution team. You will help ensure smooth warehouse operations, manage inventory, handle materials, and fulfill orders with accuracy while maintaining safety standards across all activities.

You will read order directions, select products and quantities, identify items not fit for shipment, operate forklifts and other equipment, and contribute to a clean, organized facility through Lean housekeeping practices.

Qualifications

• 1+ years warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift operating experience required.
• Basic computer skills are an asset.
• Strong communication and team work are important.

Responsibilities

• Read order directions and select the appropriate products and quantities for order processing or stocking.
• Understand the distribution center layout and pull the minimum material required to build a unit.
• Identify products not fit for shipment due to damage, quality, or location.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, tuggers, power sweepers, and strapping machines.
• Maintain a clean, organized facility through Lean housekeeping efforts.
