Job summary

Gibson's Heating & Plumbing, INC. is seeking a Warehouse Associate / Jetter Operator to join a family-owned team in the Northeast Indiana region. The role alternates between operating our sewer jetter truck at worksites and supporting the warehouse to keep jobs moving.

You will work with technicians to safely unclog lines, document issues, maintain equipment, and assist in receiving, stocking, and delivering parts. CDL is not required; DOT medical card is required.

• DOT medical card is required and will be arranged if offered.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

The Big Task
Your primary role will alternate between operating our sewer jetter truck at worksites and assisting in the warehouse pending business needs. You will work alongside our technicians to determine the best approach to safely unclog lines for repairs and installs, and document the location of any possible cause of issues. When not operating jetter equipment, you'll support our warehouse and technicians to keep jobs moving.

Operating the Jetter Truck (heavy-duty commercial vehicle designed to clear blockages and maintain underground pipes, through high-pressure water)

• Operate jetter truck safely and efficiently at worksites
• Maintain communication with technicians, dispatch, your manager, and warehouse
• Maintain jetter truck, and related equipment following maintenance schedules

Inventory & Stock Management

• Stock kits (PVC totes, PEX trays, and miscellaneous kits)
• Stock service and installation trucks with required materials
• Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing tools, products, materials, and equipment

Quality & Receiving

• Inspect incoming deliveries for quality, quantity, and accuracy
• Report damage to tools or stock items to the Warehouse Manager promptly and honestly

Facility & Equipment Upkeep

• Keep warehouse clean and free of hazards at all times
• Maintain cleanliness of the entire facility to ownership standards
• Help inspect physical conditions of warehouse, vehicle fleet, and equipment to identify maintenance, repair, or replacement needs
• Wash, dry, and fold tarps as needed
• Prepare old equipment for recycling (such as breaking down A/C's, copper, brass, wire, etc.)
• Keep warehouse and dumpster area organized and clean

Delivery & Support

• Provide assistance to other stockroom and warehouse team members
• Drive to job sites to deliver parts and equipment to technicians and installers when needed using a company vehicle
• Have and maintain a clean driving record

Desired Skills and Experience

• Excellent Pay- based on experience
• Full Time Position- Approximately 40-45 Hours per Week. Available to work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, with occasional extended hours
