Warehouse Associate IV - Inventory Clerk

The Warehouse Associate IV – Inventory Clerk is responsible for performing all tasks in the safest way possible. The position is responsible for the accurate accounting of inventory, including receiving, processing, and shipping. This role performs a variety of clerical duties including data entry, identifying root cause, and maintenance of files and records.

A Day In The Life

Follow all safety, company, and 6S standards in the distribution center to ensure a clean and safe working environment, ensuring the safety and security of all employees.

Operate warehouse equipment, dock safety, and order convenience equipment safely and efficiently to minimize accidents.

Troubleshoot inventory quantity discrepancies with operations, establish root cause, and provide recommendations to management.

Research and establish root cause of inventory adjustments over $500.

Oversee the product damage process, including tracking, packaging correction, and returning items into inventory promptly.

Assist in standardizing processes for lean operations, continuous improvement, standard work, and employee involvement.

Correct deviations in item and location master data in SAP, such as incorrect inventory counts, inaccurate dimensions, missing barcode info, or location issues.

Collaborate with the cycle count team to address adjustment concerns or questions.

Perform miscellaneous activities as directed by your manager to support warehouse operations efficiently.

What Will Help You Thrive in This Role

Deep knowledge of all primary roles in a distribution environment (Pick, Pack, Put away, and Replenishment).

Five (5) years of experience in a high-volume warehouse environment required.

Two (2) years of experience in an inventory control position.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Excellent math and analytical skills, including handling decimals.

Ability to perform tasks with high accuracy and minimal errors.

Ability to work for up to nine hours per day.

Willingness to embrace the Hubbell Values and Behaviors.
