Job Overview

The Warehouse Associate IV – Inventory Clerk is responsible for performing all tasks in the safest way possible. The position involves accurate inventory accounting, including receiving, processing, and shipping. It also includes clerical duties such as data entry, root cause analysis, and maintaining files and records.

A Day In The Life
  • Follow safety, company, and 6S standards to ensure a clean and safe working environment, ensuring the safety and security of all employees.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, dock safety, and order convenience equipment safely and efficiently to minimize accidents.
  • Troubleshoot inventory discrepancies, establish root causes, and recommend solutions to management.
  • Research and resolve inventory adjustments over $500.
  • Oversee product damage processes, including tracking, packaging correction, and inventory return.
  • Assist in standardizing processes for lean operations, continuous improvement, and employee training.
  • Correct deviations in item and location master data in SAP, such as inventory inaccuracies, missing barcode info, or location issues.
  • Collaborate with the cycle count team to address adjustment concerns.
  • Perform miscellaneous activities as directed to support warehouse operations.
What Will Help You Thrive in This Role
  • Deep knowledge of primary roles in a distribution environment (Pick, Pack, Put away, Replenishment).
  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience in a high-volume warehouse environment.
  • At least two (2) years’ experience in an inventory control position.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent math and analytical skills, including handling decimals.
  • High accuracy in job tasks with minimal errors.
  • Ability to work up to nine hours per day.
  • Willingness to embrace Hubbell Values and Behaviors.
