Job summary

Aramark’s University of Nebraska - Concessions is seeking a Warehouse Worker to handle receiving, labeling, inventory control, and order preparation. The role emphasizes ensuring clean, organized storage, plus adherence to safety standards at a high-volume facility.

The position requires ability to lift up to 50 lb, operate pallet jacks or forklifts as needed, and follow SOPs to meet accuracy and productivity targets. Training may be provided for equipment use.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• High school education or equivalent is preferred.
• 2 years of previous warehouse experience is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery.
• Able to lift up to 50 lb frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 35 lb.
• Some client locations require a current valid driver’s license; an MVR may be run as part of pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect products, label items accurately, and report discrepancies in deliveries and invoices.
• Organize and store incoming products in designated locations, applying FIFO for perishable items.
• May require training and operation of manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack, and/or forklifts.
• Picks inventory to assemble orders for requisitions or par levels.
• Follow all SOPs to meet accuracy and production standards.
• Load, unload and transport products to different areas or client locations using carts, PIVs, or vehicles.
• Conduct routine physical inventory counts per location schedules.
• Complete administrative duties including inventory count documents, temperature/spoilage logs, equipment inspections, and related records.
• Clean work areas including restrooms, break areas, loading dock, freight elevator and delivery areas as applicable.
• Implement location safety policies, OSHA requirements, SDS standards, and emergency procedures with PPE.
• Protect client and company assets; interact with clients, employees, vendors, customers, and guests.
