Job summary

Bailey’s is seeking a Warehouse Assistant in North Salt Lake, UT to join our team and support inventory control, moving operations, and organized storage. This full-time, manual-labor position emphasizes safety, accuracy, and efficiency in daily warehouse tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds regularly.
• Forklift certification is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• :Receive, inspect, and organize incoming inventory and supplies.
• Assist with loading/unloading moving trucks.
• Prepare, label, wrap, and stage items for storage or delivery.
• Maintain inventory records and document movements.
• Conduct routine inventory counts and audits.
• Ensure belongings are handled with care to prevent damage.
• Organize storage areas to maximize space.
• Maintain cleanliness across warehouse and loading areas.
• Assist movers and drivers with shipments.
• Operate warehouse equipment (if certified).
• Follow safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
• Report issues to management promptly.
• Support security of storage areas.
• Assist with packing and moving-related tasks.
• Collaborate with staff to meet operational goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
