Job summary

COMMTRAC FLOORS INC is seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate to support warehouse operations, including receiving shipments, delivering/picking up material, and inventory tracking. The ideal candidate will operate sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks and drive daily to jobsites across the SoCal area.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a background check. Bilingual Spanish is a plus, with prior flooring experience preferred.

Qualifications

• MUST have a High school diploma/GED
• MUST have a Valid Driver's License
• MUST pass a standard background check
• Bi-lingual (able to adequately speak & understand Spanish)
• Previous flooring experience is preferred
• Ability to use warehouse equipment including sit-down forklift, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
• Experience with a Zebra Scanner for inventory tracking is a plus
• Capable of standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects
• Ability to work with limited supervision
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Detail-oriented

Responsibilities

• Process incoming shipments in a neat and organized fashion
• Load and unload trucks
• Deliver to and pick up material from vendors and jobsites (this job requires daily driving to different cities within the SoCal area)
• General warehouse organization & cleaning
• Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments for any damages, defects, or errors
• Stage flooring materials according to work orders
• Track inventory accurately
• Take company vehicles in for maintenance when needed
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines
