JOB TITLE: Warehouse III (Warehouse Team Lead)

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Warehouse Lead must be an organized and dependable person who possesses excellent organization skills, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills. This role possesses multi-functional responsibilities. The focus of this role is leading and supporting teams executing order fulfillment.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Effectively lead a team to execute the Order Fulfillment process which includes, but is not limited to pick orders, consolidate orders, check orders, transport consolidated orders to packing area, pack orders, label orders, transport orders to shipping dock.
2. Transports incoming and outgoing inventory to designated areas utilizing appropriate tools/vehicles to accomplish the task including but not limited to hand dolly, forklift, electric dolly, pallet jack.
3. Organize products and maintain orderly item location for efficient order fulfillment and material transfers around the warehouse.
4. Performs quality inspections on outgoing shipments.
5. Responsible for respective areas ensuring that all packages for shipping meet SLA (Service Level Agreement).
6. Maintains a safe, clean working environment.
7. Participates in quality improvement processes.
8. Provides timely and adequate feedback/coaching to team.
9. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
10. Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.

MINOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

6. Processes all packages for shipments to include packaging, labeling, stacking, and palletizing.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB

1. One to two years of previous Lead experience.
2. At least 4 years’ experience in a warehouse.
3. Minimum of 2 years WMS management, D365 preferred (wave planning).
4. MS Office proficient - Outlook, Excel, Word.
5. Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods.
6. Able to work well independently or as a member of a team, with minimal supervision.
7. Possess basic math skills, understand written/verbal procedures, ability to read/write/speak English.
8. Previous Scan gun capabilities a plus.
9. Forklift experience preferred.
10. Minimum high school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

1. Prolonged periods of standing/walking.
2. Occasionally lift, carry and/or move up to 50lbs.
3. Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.
4. Continually required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl.
5. Continually work near moving mechanical parts.
6. Occasional loud noise.
7. Occasional varying environmental temperature changes.
