Job summary

Safelite is seeking a Fulfillment Associate III-MVR in Wichita, KS to operate material handling equipment and RF scanners for picking automotive glass orders. You will help load vehicles, maintain safety standards, and keep a clean, organized work area.

The role requires 18+ years of age, a valid driver’s license, and experience with order pickers and forklifts. Shifts are Tue–Fri 8:00 AM–4:30 PM and Sat 6:45 AM–4:15 PM, with Sundays/Mondays off. Pay starts at $20.66/hour with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid state-issued driver's license required and any other license(s) to operate a company vehicle; must pass a Motor Vehicle Records check (MVR).
• Experience with MHE equipment including order picker, forklift, and reach truck.
• Strong preference for candidates with order picker experience.
• To safely operate the order picker and comply with equipment manufacturer specifications and required safety regulations, there is a weight limit set at 300 pounds.
• If you are hired to operate this equipment, you will need to weigh under 300lbs.
• Strength to perform physical tasks involving repetitive moving or raising of objects weighing up to 35 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable with working in various environmental conditions, such as seasonal heat or cold, and staying in a stationary position for long shifts.
• Punctuality and consistent attendance to help your teammates.
• Positive attitude with a focus on exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Operates and will be certified on all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers raised to heights of up to 40 feet.
• Utilize handheld RF scanners to receive, pick, ship, or locate inventory; will focus primarily on picking glass orders.
• May occasionally drive and deliver automotive glass, accessories, and parts to store locations.
• Adhere to all safety and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
• Assist with offloading tractor trailers by hand or forklift.
• Maintain a secure and clean work area.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned.
