Job summary

Farmer's Fridge is hiring a Warehouse Associate III in Chicago, IL at an hourly rate of $19.20. The role requires 2+ years in a warehouse, ability to stand 8+ hours in a ~40°F environment, and lifting at least 40 lbs. Proficiency with Word, Excel and Google Suite is expected.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of warehouse experience, preferably in the food industry.
• Able to stand and work for long periods (8+ hours) in a cold environment (~40F) and lift 40 lbs+.
• Know-how to use Word, Excel, and Google Suite.
• Strong communication skills are required.
• Stay organized and flexible in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate efforts to deliver product to production and put-away product from vendors.
• Maintain warehouse logs.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-organized working environment.
• Immediately report safety hazards and violations; communicate operational concerns.
• Communicate within and across multiple departments.
• Knowledge of allergen storage is a plus.
