Job summary

Core & Main is seeking a warehouse associate in Sioux Falls, SD to support inventory, shipping and receiving. You will operate forklifts, count shipments, and ensure accurate packing and staging of goods for delivery to customers and sites.

Responsibilities include inventory verification, cycle counts, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Prior forklift experience and a high school diploma are preferred; 1–3 years of related work is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years of experience.
• Forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Receives, counts and records shipment data into the system. Matches packing list information to actual packed merchandise.
• Safely operates forklift, pallet jacks or other machinery to complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, fabricating, picking, stocking, staging, and transportation of goods.
• Deliver products, supplies, and equipment to designated area.
• Verify physical inventory and assist with cycle counts. Examine and inspect stock items for wear and defects.
• Maintains condition of work area (i.e., free of trash, product in correct location, etc.).
• Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same.
• May perform order layout and make changes to carriers or picking method.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
