Warehouse Associate II

Who we are looking for:

We are seeking a Warehouse Associate II based in Hobart, IN. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this role involves warehouse duties such as picking, packing, cycle counting, and material handling.

What you'll do:

• Prepare finished products for shipment by identifying their location, then pulling, packing, and loading them.
• Sort & move palletized and bulk materials in and out of containers, loading docks, racks, and storage areas.
• Use RF scanner/computer to retrieve product codes, part numbers, product quantities, location information, etc.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, cherry pickers, reach trucks, stock chasers, and other equipment, once certified.
• Perform cycle counts as needed.
• Ensure all operating procedures, safety guidelines, and plant rules are followed daily.

What you'll bring:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 3+ years of forklift certification and experience operating equipment required.
• 3+ years of warehouse experience in retail or large box distribution preferred.
• Intermediate computer and RF scanner skills.
• Ability to lift and manipulate up to 60 lbs.
• Standing and walking up to 12 hours per day.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.

Within 3 months, you'll:

• Become proficient with the RF scanner functions.
• Get certified in all applicable PIT equipment.
• Develop an intermediate knowledge of warehouse locations and products.
