Job summary

American Tire Distributors is seeking a RDC-Warehouse II to support order fulfillment and material handling in a fast-paced distribution center. You will assist in loading/unloading trailers, organizing stock, and ensuring accurate counts to keep inventory flowing smoothly.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required; 0–1 year related experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Inventory awareness and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administrative tasks, such as handling and preparation of paperwork, and may assist in daily closing of the warehouse.
• Verify all incoming and outgoing products for accuracy in terms of amount, size and type, inform management of shortages and assist in periodic counts.
• Compile and submit regular reports of damaged, outdated stock or under/over shipments and segregate defective product from normal inventory flow; prioritize picks to fill orders.
• Designate and organize warehouse stock by product line and alignment to allow space for overflow.
• Load and unload delivery trucks; lift up to 50 pounds and handle tires over 50 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and maintain license if required.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the facility and assist in daily closing down of warehouse.
• Prioritize and pick materials for order fulfillment, staging for loading.
