Job summary

Mohawk Industries is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support shipping, loading, and tracking of flooring products on the 1st shift. You will operate forklift equipment, use the warehouse management system, and communicate effectively with the team to meet daily targets.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of warehouse experience, are forklift certified, dependable, and able to work in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months experience in a warehouse facility.
• Operate forklift equipment and pass the Mohawk lift truck certification test.
• Willingness to learn systems & processes.
• Dependable, with a good attendance record.
• Work within a team environment.

Responsibilities

Perform various functions in support of warehouse operation, including shipping, loading, and tracking of flooring products.

Must be able to efficiently perform all of the following functions:

• Forklift certified and able to operate all types of lift truck equipment in assigned facility
• Utilize warehouse management system to receive, load, and store inventory. (Training provided)
• Effectively communicate with the team as to needs and facility expectations

Expected base pay rate for this role will be between 19.00 and 20.00 per hour at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other company sponsored benefit programs.
