Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and other material-handling equipment in the facility.
• Load, unload, and move goods per shipping and receiving schedules.
• Operate banding and wrapping machines.
• Lock trailers using Glad Hand Locks and secure loads.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and report hazards.

• Forklift certified and able to operate all types of lift truck equipment in assigned facility.
• Operate all banding and wrapping machines within assigned facility.
• Operate Glad Hand Locks to lock trailers
• Receive shipping orders from shipping office.
• Obey all safety rules and regulations.
• Performs routine maintenance on equipment:
  • Cleaning
  • Fueling
  • Completes daily equipment check
• Immediately report to supervision all safety hazards, accidents, and/or injuries, no matter how slight
• Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision
• Follow all established standard operating procedures
• Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary
• Perform other tasks assigned by management
