Job Description
Position Summary:

The Warehouse Associate II is primarily responsible for working closely with the Fulfillment Center Supervisor(s) to ensure all inbound and outbound documentation and standards are met. This includes picking and loading products for outgoing delivery, selecting products from the warehouse, loading and securing goods to pallets, moving inventory to designated areas, and supporting receiving efforts as needed. Compliance with safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures is mandatory. Success in this role requires the ability to follow instructions and operate forklifts or other material handling equipment.

Major Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with supervisors and management to meet goals and deadlines.
  • Manage dock flow, including container, cross dock, LTL shipments, returns, and stocking.
  • Record materials received or distributed and enter data into the Oracle system.
  • Review pallets, load trailers, and move materials from receiving to trailers.
  • Prepare worksheets or tickets based on customer specifications.
  • Perform physical cycle counts and verify inventory data.
  • Process inventory or materials, returning merchandise as needed.
  • Transact material movements in ERP systems.
  • Load and unload vehicles, perform trailer inspections.
  • Read customer delivery orders, gather items, and distribute accordingly.
  • Operate forklifts (reach truck, order picker, turret truck, sit-down) for picking, packing, and transporting items.
  • Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to predefined sequences.
  • Use computers and RF scanners to record data.
  • Mark materials with identifying information.
  • Stage materials in designated areas as per pick orders.
  • Handle shipping documentation and reconcile carrier discrepancies (specific to McAllen).
  • Create carrier call logs and arrange pickups (McAllen).
  • Manage purchase orders (McAllen).
  • File incoming trailer reports daily (McAllen).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education / Experience / Skills
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Preferred one year of forklift driving experience.
  • Preferred two years of work experience in a warehouse or production environment.
  • Certified forklift driver (stand-up/sit-down) or willing to learn.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, understanding, and speaking English.
  • Experience with import/export, distribution, and logistics is a plus.
  • Strong MS Office and computer skills; experience with Oracle or other MRP systems.
  • Experience in receiving, verifying raw materials against packing lists.
  • Attention to detail, data entry skills, basic math, and organization skills.
  • Ability to perform visual quality inspections.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Willing to work at heights of 25 feet or more while secured by a harness.
Work Environment/Physical Requirements

This role is primarily indoors in a warehouse setting but may require outdoor access. Must be able to operate forklifts and work at heights of 25 feet or more while secured. Frequent walking, standing, bending, twisting, and handling of products are required. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying temperature conditions is necessary.
