Job summary

White Cap is hiring immediately for a Warehouse Associate II in California. You will safely operate a forklift, pick, pack and ship products, and record shipment data as part of a dynamic team.

The role may be in the warehouse or yard, with lifting up to 50 pounds and a focus on safety and accuracy. Ideal candidates bring 2–5 years of relevant experience, a hands-on approach to material handling, and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment while contributing to reliable service.

Qualifications

• Forklift operation and warehouse safety are required.
• Experience with shipping, receiving and material handling.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and move merchandise.
• Pick, pack, and ship products to customers.
• Receive, count, and record shipment information into the system.
• May work inside the warehouse or outside in the yard.
• Lift and carry material up to 50 pounds.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

A Warehouse Associate II at White Cap…

• Safely operates a forklift to load, unload, and move merchandise.
• Picks, packs, and ships products to customers.
• Receives, counts, and records shipment information into the system.
• May work inside the warehouse or outside in the yard.
• Lifts and carries material up to 50 pounds.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Generally has 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Basic understanding of shipping, receiving, and material handling procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials.
• Willingness to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools
• Bilingual-Spanish is a plus
