Job summary

Georg-Fischer in Easton, PA is seeking a dependable warehouse associate to load flatbeds and hotshots, verify orders and paperwork, and move products from staging areas to their proper locations.

Responsibilities include performing cleanups, audits of warehouse processes, meeting daily KPIs, assisting with restaging container loads, and complying with all safety rules. Prior order pulling and lift truck experience are preferred; a High School Diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2-3 years of order pulling experience preferred.
• Two to three years of order pulling experience preferred.

• Checks product pulled for orders and verifies associated paperwork.
• Moves product from staging areas to its proper location.
• Performs cleaning and housekeeping duties as required.
• Performs audits according to the Distribution warehouse process.
• Meets KPIs daily.
• Assists with restaging container loads.
• Complies with all safety rules and regulations.

Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesLoads flatbeds and hotshots for outbound deliveries.Checks product pulled for orders, verifies associated paperwork and ensures that shipments are fulfilled correctly.Moves product from staging areas and stores it in its proper location.Performs cleaning and housekeeping duties as required.Perform audits according to the Distribution warehouse process.Meets KPIs daily.Assists with restaging container loads.Compliance with all safety rules and regulations.Other duties as assigned.Required Skills/AbilitiesGood verbal and written communication skills.Good organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to learn technical terms, processes, and piping design vocabulary.Strong interpersonal skills.Ability to visually compare and verify alphanumeric sequences (part numbers).Proficient with numbers, such as multiplication, addition, subtraction, division, and number recognition.Basic computer skills.Ability to operate scales, pallet wrappers, and pipe wrappers.Education and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED preferred.Two (2) to three (3) years of order pulling experience preferred.Previous flatbed loading experience preferred.Lift truck certification (license) or previous experience in safely operating Drexels, order pickers, and lift trucks preferred.Please submit your application via the ‘Apply’ button.
