Job summary

The Carlstar Group in Clinton, TN is seeking a Warehouse Associate I to move, organize, and load products ensuring accurate and timely deliveries. The role requires use of scanning equipment, container labeling, and adherence to safety standards.

Individuals must be able to read, write and communicate in English, have a High School diploma or GED, and ideally a year of manufacturing or distribution experience. A forklift license may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in a manufacturing/distribution operation preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting production and quality goals.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid forklift or equipment license as needed or required.

• Handle product ensuring the correct parts are properly organized and in the correct container.
• Review product for any obvious defects and reject for review.
• Interface with computer software, scan guns, and documentation for various aspects of the process.
• Properly label and organize containers of product.
• Operate powered industrial vehicles (PIV) or manual pallet movement equipment as needed.
• Complete and document all safety checks as required for use of a PIV or for entry into a shipping container.
• Accurately complete all paperwork assigned for a specific assignment.
