Job Summary

Responsible for specialized warehouse tasks including loading, unloading, order pulling, shipping, returns, forklift operation, fabrication, and general departmental support.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities

• Complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, fabrication, and transportation of goods.
• Load and unload materials from storage areas or vehicles, and stack or pile materials as needed.
• Install protective devices to prevent shifting or damage during transport.
• Verify stock counts against computations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety policies.
• Receive and fulfill orders, and assist with sales to installers and subcontractors.
• Operate trucks, forklifts, or other machinery as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Work Environment

• Typically in a comfortable setting but with exposure to potential hazards like machinery, noise, and fumes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive movements.
• Overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
