Job Description

Purpose: Describe the primary goals, objectives, or functions of this position.

Warehouse Associates are responsible for accurately performing a variety of manual and automated tasks related to receipt, storage, transportation, picking, packing, shipping, staging, and delivery of products, which may be hazardous, temperature-sensitive, or high-value. They must demonstrate behaviors aligned with AbbVie's attributes and values.

Responsibilities:

• Comply with all policies and procedures to maintain training, safety, GxP, and governmental standards.
• Accurately process paperwork according to policies and procedures.
• Adapt to changing work demands efficiently.
• Cross-train in multiple operational areas while maintaining low error rates.
• Receive and inspect inbound products for infestation, overages, shortages, and damages.
• Pick customer orders accurately for shipment.
• Transfer and locate materials to storage or shipping areas.
• Verify quantities, quality, labeling, and addresses to ensure shipment accuracy.

Qualifications

Required and preferred qualifications include:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to perform basic math, read and understand training documents, labels, and signage in English.
• Pass medical screening and background checks.
• Ability to adapt to fast-changing demands.
• Self-motivated, team-oriented, with good multitasking skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, RF scanners, and basic problem-solving.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more with assistance and perform physical tasks for an 8-hour shift.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment like forklifts is preferred.
