Job summary

Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA is seeking a Warehouse Associate I to join our SCM team in Lakeview, WI. You will perform general warehouse duties, receive, unpack, check, and store merchandise, fill requisitions and orders, and pack, crate, and ship products to distribution centers, departments, or the assembly line.

You will operate forklift as required, perform cycle counts, ensure accurate labeling, and maintain warehouse safety and Kaizen/5S practices.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse machinery and equipment.
• Able to operate industrial vehicles and forklifts.
• Basic PC skills are required.
• Must be able to work independently, as well as with a group.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand long hours.
• Overtime flexibility is required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods and supplies as directed.
• Receive merchandise and verify accuracy; unpack and stock inbound receipts.
• Ensure proper packing, labeling and tagging of inventory.
• Pick/pack dealer orders per guidelines and quotas.
• Conduct cycle counts and manage daily logs; report damaged inventory.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper stocking; operate forklift as required.
• Follow safety regulations and Kaizen/5S practices.
