Baldor in Chelsea, MA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to efficiently move, select, and package food products, maintain documentation, and ensure FDA standards. Repetitive lifting and safety are core requirements as you build pallets and operate powered equipment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read English language at High School 9th grade level.
• Prior warehousing experience in a food environment preferred.
• Electric pallet jack, order picker.

Responsibilities

• Select proper product from designated warehouse area (bins/shelves).
• Handle and package product carefully and in a sanitary manner.
• Stack product for loading with care for potential damage control.
• Build pallets and shrink wrap finished pallets for final loading.
• Complete pick documentation, productivity worksheets, and identify product for customers.
• Maintain proper housekeeping standards for all work areas.
• Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Report any product damage or loss to supervisor.
• Receive and pick orders from order sheet.
• Unload the OTR truck.
• Pack and unpack items to be stocked on pallets for delivery.
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner.
• Maintain clean work environment to ensure safety compliance.
• Examine stock items for defects and report damage.
• Operate forklift and/or pallet jack to transport items.
