Job description

The role of the Warehouse Associate I is responsible for providing the highest level of quality and service to our customers. Responsibilities include accurate and timely receiving of inventory, product movement, cycle counting, and shipping orders accurately in a timely manner and in a salable condition. While performing duties, the Warehouse Associate I will be responsible for operating lift trucks and warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Follow all safety, company, and 6S standards in the distribution center to ensure a clean and safe working environment and the safety and security of all employees.
  • Operate warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner to ensure little to no accidents.
  • Report company equipment and infrastructure damage to ensure repairs occur in order to minimize safety risk.
  • Perform assigned warehouse tasks utilizing standard work and policies to ensure the highest levels of safety and quality.
  • Move product to storage areas with proper equipment and efficiently stack and store the product in the appropriate area.
  • Follow all visual aids within the distribution center to maximize safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Contribute process suggestions to continuously improve warehouse operations.
  • Identify deviations in the process and immediately notify the supervisor to correct issues.
  • Fully contribute in continuous improvement events to improve operations.
  • Perform miscellaneous activities as directed by your manager to efficiently support the warehouse operation.
