Qualifications

Job description

The Warehouse Associate I is primarily responsible for replenishing, picking, packing, and shipping customer orders through accurate verification and completion of paperwork and materials management. They perform proper inventory maintenance activities through quality control steps and adherence to warehouse procedures. Warehouse Associate I also safely operate material handling equipment and maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Executing standard procedures for duties
  • Reading and executing parts tickets and packaging instructions accurately
  • Using scanner equipment for inventory and shipment processing
  • Understanding inventory processes, warehouse locations, and bin layouts
  • Pulling parts efficiently and timely
  • Following all safety policies and recognizing safety concerns
  • Operating forklifts as required, inspecting daily, and requesting maintenance
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area
  • Working as part of a team
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Minimum qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 6 months to 1 year warehouse experience preferred
  • Experience with RF scanners, WM’s, and VLM’s RF preferred
  • Proficiency in computer software (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize, manage stress, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Enthusiastic team player with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Professional demeanor for customer interactions
  • Ability to work with urgency and exceed customer expectations
  • Problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, accurate
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays
Working Conditions
  • Work inside and outside in various weather conditions
  • Use of personal protective equipment required
  • Physical activities include standing, stooping, lifting up to 50 lbs, etc.
  • Use of computers and technology to complete tasks
