Responsibilities

• Receive, handle, store, record, and dispatch goods following established procedures.
• Receive incoming goods; check for damage and discrepancies with invoices.
• Sort, label, and store goods; optimize warehouse space.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods per requests.
• Enter data into warehouse systems to maintain stock records and respond to inquiries.
• Perform routine clerical tasks per procedures.
• Operate forklifts or other warehouse machinery.

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, record, and dispatch goods in a store or warehouse.
• Receive incoming goods; check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices.
• Accurately sort, label, and store goods; arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders.
• Enter data into a database or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock records; retrieve stored information to respond to enquiries (for example on inventory levels or delivery schedules.)
• Perform other routine clerical activities according to the organization's established procedures.
• These activities may include answering telephones; updating stock cards and inventory records; and completing receipt, transfer, delivery, and dispatch forms.
• Operate forklifts or other warehouse machinery.

Experience

• Level I: 0-3 years.
