Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Hodgenville, KY is looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our distribution team. The role is full-time with a daytime shift and an hourly pay range of $15.72 to $21.15.

Regular hours are Mon-Fri 7:00 am–3:30 pm, with flexibility as needed to meet goals. Responsibilities include picking and packing orders, using RF scanners, maintaining clean and safe work areas, and supporting teammates as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with RF scanners preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders using paper tickets or RF scanner to confirm item details.
• Retrieve items from shelves using RF scanner to complete batched orders.
• Pack orders and complete packing paperwork.
• Move orders to shipping area and maintain neat workspace.
• Follow safety practices and maintain attendance.

Regular business hours are Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. or as needed to meet business goals and objectives.

Primary responsibilities:

• Pick orders by reading paper pick tickets and RF tickets from a scanner to ascertain style numbers, sizes, colors, and quantities of merchandise (as stated on RF scanner or paper pick ticket)
• Obtain merchandise from shelves by using the RF scanner to scan locations & items to complete batched orders
• Complete necessary paperwork for packing information
• Move completed orders to the shipping area
• Provide assistance or direction to other warehouse workers as needed
• Responsible for the careful handling of all merchandise at all times
• Maintains a clean, orderly work area.
• Adheres to safety and promotes safe work practices.
• Maintain attendance and punctuality as required by assigned work schedule
• Maintain a courteous and positive relationship with all co-workers
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Skills:

• Basic language communication skills
• Extended periods of standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching and continuous lifting/carrying of 25 lbs. or more up to 50 lbs.
• Time management
• Judgment and decision making
• Capacity to work independently or within a team environment and follow direction
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Previous experience using RF Scanners preferred
