At Ferris Coffee & Nut Company, we are looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented Warehouse Associate I who is ready to dive in, learn, and contribute to our growing team. In this hands-on role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods within our warehouse, supporting the overall supply chain and helping to deliver exceptional quality and service to our customers assisting within shipping, receiving, handling and distribution of our inventory.

IN A NUTSHELL

• Coordinate Shipments and Receivables: Accurately process incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring all inventory is tracked and stored correctly.
• Ensure Accuracy: Double-check orders for quality and accuracy, ensuring that shipments are packed correctly, and all required paperwork is completed.
• Support Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining proper inventory levels, including stock organization, and assisting with cycle counts.
• Safety First: Follow all safety protocols/GMP Rules and ensure the warehouse remains clean and organized.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with other departments to ensure timely and accurate shipments and deliveries.
• Ecommerce Fulfillment: Efficiently handle online orders, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
  
  
  

PERFECT INGREDIENTS FOR SUCCESS

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• 1-2 years of experience in shipping/receiving, warehousing, or a related field (food industry experience is a bonus).
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately process and track shipments.
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (certification required).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to lift and move heavy packages as needed.
  
  
  

Compensation:

Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00/hr

Physical Demands & Work Environment

The majority of work is performed in a climate-controlled warehouse and food manufacturing facility. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach and grasp with hands and arms. The position may require the employee to bend at the waist, crouch or stoop, and lift items at ground level. The position involves frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds throughout the day and up to 50 pounds on occasion. The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform tasks such as completing paperwork and operating a computer terminal. Regular attendance is an essential function of the job as all equipment and job duties are conducted on-site. This position involves exposure to potential allergens.
