Central Garden & Pet is seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate at our Easton, PA location. The role requires forklift operation, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work under tight schedules while maintaining inventory accuracy.

SAP familiarity is a plus, and a strong team orientation is essential for daily warehouse tasks. Qualified candidates will have 3+ years of forklift warehouse experience with PA certification, the ability to read and interpret job-related documents,

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn SAP software; SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely to load/unload trucks, stock warehouses and rotate stock (FIFO).
• Print required documents using SAP/Voice Pick for loading.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and report safety/mechanical issues to the Warehouse Manager.
• Collaborate with coworkers and adapt to various tasks as needed.
• Follow Central's Safety, Quality, and Ethics policies.

Our Garden Distribution division is searching for an experienced Warehouse Associate for our Easton, PA location. This position requires qualified candidates to be safety conscious and able to perform required functions in a productive manner, working with tight schedules and deadlines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform work in accordance with established safety policies and procedures; comply with all work rules, standards, instructions, and requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace and follow required safety procedures; notify the Warehouse Manager of any safety or mechanical issues.
• Safely and efficiently operate a forklift while loading/ unloading trucks, stocking warehouses, and rotating stock. Rotate stock as needed for (FIFO) First in First Out, freshness and quality efficiency.
• Utilize SAP and Voice Pick to print required documents for loading trucks.
• Work well with coworkers and be flexible in performing a variety of job tasks.
• Able to carry out the above responsibilities and all others that may be assigned in a manner that demonstrates good judgment, common sense, support and adherence to Central’s Safety Policy and Procedures, Quality Policy and Procedures and the Ethics Policy.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of forklift warehouse experience with current PA forklift certification .
• Must be able to read, analyze and interpret documents relating to the job, function or project assignment by making decisions when identifying in-process problems, and the ability to deal with a variety of job assignments.
• Must be willing to learn SAP software program functions. Previous SAP exp.is a plus.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Manual labor required in position (i.e. lifting 50 lb. bags/cases of materials).
• Daily use of industrial equipment (i.e. forklift and other material handling equipment ).
