Job summary

Westrock Coffee Company is seeking a Warehouse -- Material Handler for second shift. The role involves shipping/receiving, loading and unloading, forklift operation, and moving products within the warehouse to meet timelines.

You will stock and transfer inventory and ensure accurate transactions with barcode scanning. The position requires forklift experience, warehouse experience, basic math skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while following safety and GMP guidelines.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • At least 1 year forklift operator experience.
  • At least 1 year warehouse or manufacturing experience.
  • Basic math skills required.
  • 2+ years powered lift truck experience.
  • 2+ years warehouse or manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to organize and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to follow a schedule and written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate and work in a team.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with supervisor to determine production materials needed.
  • Complete RF Transactions for tracking and regulatory compliance.
  • Operate a forklift safely and proficiently.
  • Assist with loading and unloading of trailers.
  • Pick, stage and stock inventory using a powered lift truck and barcode scanning.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness per OSHA and safety regulations.
  • Perform duties safely and monitor areas for safety compliance.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, safety and GMP requirements.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by management.

Job Duties
  • Communicate with supervisor to determine production materials that will be needed for upcoming production requirements.
  • Complete RF Transactions to ensure tracking and regulatory compliance.
  • Operate a forklift in a safe and proficient manner
  • Assist with loading and unloading of trailers
  • Pick, stage and stock inventory using a powered lift truck while utilizing barcode scanning technology to execute transactions.
  • Maintains warehouse cleanliness in compliance with OSHA and safety regulations.
  • Perform all duties and actions in a safe manner and continuously monitor areas to ensure that safety procedures are being followed.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, standards, safety and GMP requirements.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by management
