White Cap is hiring a Warehouse Associate I in Charlotte, NC. You will safely operate a forklift, load and unload merchandise, and assist with picking, packing, and shipping products to customers. The role may involve warehouse or yard work, with lifts up to 50 pounds and other duties as assigned.

We emphasize teamwork, safety, and opportunities for growth within a trusted nationwide distributor of construction materials.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience is preferred.
• Attention to detail is required.
• Team player and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools is a plus.
• Basic understanding of shipping, receiving, and material handling.

Responsabilités

A Warehouse Associate I at White Cap… Safely operates a forklift to load, unload and move merchandise. Picks, packs, and ships products to customers. Receives, counts and records shipment information into the system. May work inside the warehouse or outside in the yard. Lifts and carries material up to 50 pounds. Performs other duties as assigned. Generally has 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.

• Basic understanding of shipping, receiving, and material handling procedures.
