Summary

America's top replacement window company, Window World, is looking to hire a determined and dependable Warehouse Associate to participate in our warehouse operations and activities at our Houston, TX location. In this position, you'll be receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock and organizing stock in the warehouse; Thus, this position will require you to be able to lift 50-90lbs throughout the day and to operate a forklift.

The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
• Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
• Complete diary logs into inventory and report any discrepancies
• Open communication with supervisors and coworkers
• Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
• Pursue quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
• Executed maintenance activities when required
• Follow and understand of applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies
• Assist with training of newly employed workers

Requirements and Skills

• Proven success working in a warehouse type role
• Physical strength and stamina to endure extreme heat, cold and other weather conditions when working outside, in and around the warehouse
• Capacity to lift heavy objects throughout the day (50-90lbs)
• Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Skilled in the use of pallet jacks, forklifts, hand trucks, and other various warehouse equipment
• Ability to work independently and safely
