Job summary

Bridgestone HosePower is seeking a warehouse associate to receive, organize, store, pull and ship merchandise and supplies used to fulfill customer orders. You will assemble and build industrial and hydraulic hose with proper training and guidance, and assist customers at our retail counter with guidance, hose repair and order processing.

Shipping and receiving, stock management, and product recommendations are core parts of the role, with emphasis on safety and accuracy in all transactions

Qualifications

• Prior experience in an industrial or hydraulic warehouse setting.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Ability to lift/move product weighing more than 50 pounds.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Ability to complete transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to manage time and complete tasks with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Shipping and receiving, including unloading and processing of items.
• Move, store and transfer materials and merchandise in and around the warehouse.
• Maintain stock in an organized fashion on shelves or in proper locations.
• Display merchandise and suggest selections meeting customers' needs.
• Discusses use and features of various parts and provides recommendations.
• Resolve inventory issues or customer concerns with supervision if needed.
• Assemble and build industrial and hydraulic hose to specifications and standards.
• Uphold environmental, health and safety standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
