Job summary

Amarr, part of ASSA ABLOY, is seeking a warehouse associate in Sterling Heights, MI. This is a physically demanding role with heavy lifting in a non-climate controlled environment. You must be 21+, have a valid driver's license, and be able to pass DOT requirements.

You will unload, inspect, stage and load products (50–75 lb), assist with inventory, and make deliveries in a 26’ box truck as needed. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, PTO, holidays, tuition reimbursement, and a 401k plan.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver’s license, with at least one year of driving experience.
• Requires heavy repetitive lifting (50-75lb) and constant movement.
• Must be able to pass all DOT requirements, including physical, background screening, and a MVR that must meet Amarr driver standards.
• Must be able to read and speak English per DOT guidelines.
• Demonstrated history of steady employment.

Responsibilities

• Unload and inspect incoming product (50-75lb) mostly by hand.
• Pull, stage, and load product for customers, while providing excellent service.
• Provide deliveries in a 26’ box truck as needed.
• Assist with inventory and damage control.
