About The Role

Animal Farm Family LLC is a holding company for three rapidly growing e-commerce companies, one of which being Happy Hippo LLC (happyhippoherbals.com). Happy Hippo Herbals is the world’s leading online kratom retailer, along with other popular botanical and herbal supplements. To support our continued growth and success, we are seeking a Warehouse Associate.

The Warehouse Associate plays a critical role in maintaining the daily operations of our warehouse. This position supports various departments and is essential to ensuring that our facilities remain organized, compliant, and efficient. The ideal candidate is a proactive team player with a strong attention to detail and a willingness to take ownership of a wide range of responsibilities.

Position Requirements

  • Great organization skills.
  • 18+ years old.
  • Solid knowledge on inventory control.
  • Forklift certification up to date.
  • Dependable and Reliable, must be able to keep good attendance.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds minimum.
  • Ability to stand or move around for up to 8 hours a day.
  • Ability to drive a forklift, climb ladders, lift boxes above head and bend down frequently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warehouse Maintenance
  • Perform daily and weekly general cleaning tasks to ensure a tidy, safe, and cGMP-compliant environment.
  • Assist in maintaining production equipment; basic understanding of tools and upkeep procedures is preferred.
  • Handle light building maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, replacing filters, or making minor repairs.
  • Maintain the exterior of the warehouse, including sweeping entrances, managing debris, and monitoring facility presentation.
  • Shipping and Receiving
  • Receive and inspect all incoming deliveries to confirm accuracy and condition.
  • Log incoming shipments in appropriate records and systems, ensuring data accuracy.
  • Prepare and stage outgoing shipments with proper packaging and documentation.
  • Communicate with carriers or vendors as needed to ensure smooth pick-ups and deliveries.
  • Contractor Management
  • Act as a liaison between the company and external maintenance or service contractors.
  • Identify areas of the facility in need of repair and escalate or coordinate contractor involvement as needed.
  • Monitor and verify the completion and quality of contracted services.
  • Software Proficiency
  • Utilize Google Docs and Google Sheets to maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure logs and checklists are updated in real-time and shared with the appropriate team members.
  • Use digital tools to track tasks, communicate updates, and follow warehouse SOPs.
  • Kratom Sampling & Organoleptic Procedures
  • Follow established SOPs to pull and prepare kratom samples for Quality Control.
  • Understand and apply organoleptic evaluation techniques (assessing by look, smell, texture).
  • Collaborate with QA team to ensure samples are properly labeled and stored.
  • Warehouse Organization
  • Keep all aisles, shelves, and work areas clean and clearly labeled.
  • Maintain FIFO (First-In, First-Out) practices for inventory control.
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
  • Ensure clear labeling and segregation of materials to prevent cross-contamination.
  • Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds or more.
  • Comfortable with physical tasks such as unloading pallets, stacking containers, and moving materials throughout the warehouse.
  • Team Support & Communication
  • Support multiple departments by assisting with cross-functional tasks as needed.
  • Communicate clearly with team leads, managers, and coworkers.
  • Bring a collaborative, can-do attitude to the team, with the initiative to solve problems on the fly.

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with 1-Hour Paid Lunch
  • Location: 2145 E Pine Ave, Meridian ID 83642
  • Compensation: $20/hr
