Job summary

RXO in Austin, TX is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support shipping and receiving, unload trucks, verify orders, and prepare items for processing.

You will read orders, pick items, ensure safety, assist with inventory counts, and communicate with drivers to ensure on-time deliveries. The role requires basic communication and reliable attendance with opportunities to grow in a dynamic logistics network.

Qualifications

• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends.
• Dock or warehouse experience in the transportation industry.
• Experience loading and unloading trailers.
• Experience using handheld scanners.
• Ability to apply critical thinking to carry out instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks and distributing orders.
• Read orders and determine items to be moved, gathered, and shipped.
• Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for employees and customers.
• Assemble products and participate in inventory counts as needed.
• Take check calls from drivers to ensure loads deliver on time and accurately recorded.
• Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries and verify on-time arrival.
