Job summary

The Kendall Group is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Michigan to support materials management in the distribution center. You will help ensure stock is accounted for, processed, and organized to meet company standards.

Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply. You will learn to operate warehouse equipment, perform packing/shipping tasks, and participate in safety initiatives as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Entry-level work experience accepted for warehouse roles.
• Must be able to pass a DOT medical exam and obtain a 1-year card (paid for by The Kendall Group) if driving is required.
• Ability to use standard warehouse equipment; basic math and reasoning skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe work habits and established safety procedures.
• Perform defined warehouse activities for selecting material and shipment of stock.
• Pick and pack orders accurately and promptly.
• Accurately identify and count inventory in assigned areas.
• Truck loading and unloading according to established procedures; back-up delivery driver if qualified.
• Maintain quality and quantity performance and production standards.
• Learn to operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and hand trucks.
• Participate in housekeeping and general warehouse tasks.
• Report equipment issues to the Distribution Center Manager.
