Job summary

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Warehouse Worker to support shipments, stock, and dock operations. The role involves loading/unloading shipments, operating forklift and pallet jacks, and maintaining safe, orderly warehouse practices.

Candidates must be able to lift up to 48 pounds, work flexible hours including overtime, and contribute to a clean, efficient work environment within a large beverage distribution company.

Qualifications

• 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Experience operating forklift, pallet jack, and battery change station.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving dock operations by loading or unloading shipments.
• Operate forklift, pallet jacks, and related equipment safely.
• Place and pull stock from storage areas of the warehouse.
• Ensure wheels are chocked before unloading begins.
• Pick cases from bulk locations to fill forward pick locations.
• Stock forward pick locations in bottle room and full case line orderly.
