Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Trenton, NJ is seeking a Warehouse Associate to perform inventory counting, order assembly, loading and material handling in a clean, safe warehouse environment.

You will have opportunities to operate a forklift once certified, support internal and external customers, and contribute to efficient, accurate receiving and shipping processes. Training and growth are encouraged in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Credentials: Forklift Certification typically required within 3 to 6 months of hire; Valid state issued driver’s license preferred.
• Skills: Able to operate hand and power tools, perform manual tasks, basic computer proficiency; forklift certification obtainable if not already held.
• Characteristics: Team oriented, responsive and professional with customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times.
• Execute manual labor functions such as picking inventory, counting cargo, loading goods, and using hand truck or pallet jack.
• Coordinate receipt, storage, and distribution of materials; prepare and assemble orders.
• Manage sorting and placement of materials on racks and pallets.
• Operate forklift once certified.
• Complete forms and labels to ensure accurate inventory and successful receiving/delivery.
• Use hand tools to close/open crates and other containers.
• Assist in identifying and resolving operational concerns; communicate with teammates.
• Monitor warehouse maintenance tasks and ensure cleanliness and safety.
