Job summary

Echo Electric in Columbus, Ohio, part of Sonepar, is seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate to ensure timely delivery by receiving, picking, packing, shipping, wire cutting and assisting with general warehouse maintenance.

Shift is 8:30 AM–5:30 PM, Monday–Friday. Starting rate is $22 per hour, with comprehensive health benefits and 401(k) options. This role requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

Qualifications

• Ability to continuously lift materials up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods and traverse the warehouse.
• Basic problem-solving skills and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Pick, check, pack, and ship orders. Orders range from a small box to pallets.
• Load, unload, and move materials and supplies using safety equipment, hand trucks, and forklifts.
• Receive, check in and store inventory in a safe manner and ensure quality and quantity of products.
• Cut wire, rod, or strut using appropriate equipment.
• Sweep floors and maintain the warehouse in a tidy and safe condition.
• Record damaged or defective materials.
