Job summary

Benjamin Moore & Co. is seeking a warehouse associate to support picking, packing, and shipping operations. You will follow safety guidelines, operate material handling equipment, and ensure accuracy of customer orders.

The role requires lifting up to 60 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally, with overtime and weekend availability. A high school diploma and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Team environment and cross-functional willingness.
• Lift 60 lbs regularly, up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Experience with warehouse equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follows all safety guidelines and rules; environmental and regulatory guidelines; uses all required safety equipment.
• Maintains the highest standards for product quality and service.
• Maintains cleanliness of the work area and equipment.
• Communicates with supervisor about improvements to job efficiency.
• Operates material handling equipment (pallet rider, order picker, forklift, reach truck, dock stocker).
• Maintains equipment by checking battery and charge.
• Picks customer orders from inventory stock and completes to meet productivity, quality and accuracy standards.
• Assembles customer orders; prepares for loading and secures pallets.
• Counts cartons to verify accuracy of orders.
• Attaches address labels on shipments for correct destination.
• Performs other warehouse duties including receiving, put-away, replenishment and loading.
• Loads delivery vehicles and secures shipments.
• Counts inventory during physical inventory; crosschecks for accuracy.
• Removes damaged stock from stock and processes returns.
• Processes nonregulated UPS shipments via UPS WorldShip.
• Uses warehouse management system scanners.
• Follows 5S practices and contributes to overall warehouse efficiency.
• Other duties as required.
