The Parts Authority in Pompano Beach, FL is hiring a Warehouse Associate to join our distribution team. You will receive, label, store incoming shipments and prepare customer orders, contributing to efficient warehouse operations.

We value reliability, safety, and teamwork, offering full-time hours and a competitive hourly wage of $16.50. Candidates should be able to lift up to 100 lbs, operate basic warehouse tools, and follow safety procedures at all times.

Qualifications

• Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal.
• Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements.
• Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move objects 10-50lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
• Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach.
• May be subject to environmental conditions and weather exposure.
• May function in narrow aisles or passageways.
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
• Attention to detail.
• Great communication skills.
• Time management skills.
• Able to work well under pressure.
• Open availability, flexible shifts and overtime.
• 1-2 years Warehouse experience preferred.
• Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse.
• Maintain and promote workplace safety.
• Securing and transferring cash or other assets.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, labeling, and storing incoming stock.
• Maintaining clear records on all inventory and stock.
• Scan items into the warehouse management system.
• Inspecting all stock for damages and keeping records of damages.
• Organizing warehouse space.
• Preparing orders for shipment.
• Picking orders for shipment.
• Interface with management to ensure key objectives are realized.
• Maintain safety regulations and compliance with all applicable regulations.
