American Welding & Gas Inc is hiring a Warehouse Associate for our Houston, TX facility. The role involves picking, packing, shipping orders, delivering gas and hard goods, and operating a forklift. You will follow SOPs and back up the counter as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Pre-employment drug screen required.
• Clean driving record (3+ years).
• Ability to lift 50-75 pounds.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with computers.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and ship orders accurately and quickly.
• Deliver gas and hard goods to customers.
• Operate forklift in warehouse setting.
• Palletize and label overstock for proper handling.
• Tag orders to routing destinations.
• Release and verify inbound purchase orders.
• Log and process inbound parcel shipments.
• Restock consumables and prepare for the next business day.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles.
• Read, understand, and follow SOPs.
• Back up Counter Representative.
• Other duties as assigned.
